It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 12th Annual National Urban League on the Hill Policy Conference and State of Black America Release. Our theme, "Save Our Cities: Education, Jobs and Justice," expresses the sense of urgency and efficiency we are bringing to this years program. On Tuesday, you will arrive and go directly into your meetings with your Representatives of Congress - there will be many new faces for us to introduce to Our Movement in the aftermath of the swearing-in of the 114th Congress. We will kick off our formal program with an Opening Dinner at our Hotel, where we will hear from high-level Members of Congress. On Wednesday, we will move straight from our signature Salute to the Congressional Black Caucus breakfast, over to the White House South Court Auditorium, for our agency programming. Our evening will end with our Congressional Leadership Awards reception at the New Offices of Google DC. And finally, on Thursday, we will release our 2015 State of Black America report and then go into our Policy Task Force meetings.
Additional information will be headed your way in coming weeks. We urge you to make your travel and hotel arrangements as soon as possible and we look forward to greeting you in the Nation's Capitol.
